What size are our Beagles? Beagles come in several sizes, shapes and colors. Here is a general breakdown of 3 typical sizes. AKC only recognizes 2 sizes, the first being the 15" Beagle. The 15" beagle can weigh up to 35 pounds and is more than 13" but not more than 15". The second size is the 13" Beagle, this Beagle is 13" or under and can weigh from 16-25 pounds. Third is the pocket beagle which is NOT recognized by the AKC, all beagles under 13" are in the same class per AKC show standards. Pocket Beagles are generally under 10" and may weigh as little as 10 pounds. Some Pocket Beagles are not purebred beagles at all but cross bred with another small type breed such as a Dachshund. Our Beagles are the 13" variety, all our Beagles are 13" or less and some of our females are only 10", but all of our Beagles are 100% purebred and DNA tested per AKC rules. This information is meant to be used as a guide only, there are many variations to these descriptions but this will give you a better understanding of sizes and types.

How to purchase? We require a $100.00 nonrefundable deposit to hold any puppy. In the event that you can not complete the purchase your deposit will be held and you may apply it to a future puppy, you will have 1 year to utilize the deposit after which time your deposit will be forfeited. 

Your deposit may be sent by USPS mail, we will wait 5 working days for the deposit to arrive. To avoid delays we suggest making the deposit by PayPal, this will ensure that your puppy is held securely. The balance due must be paid by either a cashiers check or money order, we only accept personal checks if they are sent 21 days in advance. The final payment must arrive and be cleared before we will release the puppy, this usually takes 7-10 days. You may make the final payment by PayPal but you will need to add an additional 3% to cover PayPal fees. If you choose to use PayPal we will email you an invoice, we DO NOT ask for the 3% fee when making the initial deposit.

Please Note: We will not tolerate charge-backs! Any charge-backs will be prosecuted to the fullest and will be turned over to a collection agency, after which it will be reported to all credit reporting agencies as an unpaid debt that will remain on your record until paid in full. If you pay with a credit card belonging to someone else than the cardholders name will appear on all the puppy's paperwork along with the actual purchasers name.

 Our health guarantee:

Our puppies are sold with a 10 day guarantee against communicable disease that is life threatening, this guarantee starts on the day of arrival to Purchaser. The puppy is also guaranteed until it's first birthday against congenital defect resulting in death of the puppy. No other conditions are covered. This guarantee is non-transferable.

All veterinarian expenses are the sole responsibility of the Purchaser and will not be paid by the Breeder. As soon as the puppy is delivered all care expenses become the responsibility of the Purchaser.

All sales are final and no cash refunds will be issued, Breeder offers replacement puppy only. Purchaser is responsible for paying for any and all diagnostic tests or necropsy in the event of illness or death of the puppy. A necropsy by a licensed veterinarian will need to be performed to make a claim of death, necropsy results will need to be forwarded to the Breeder and the Breeder's veterinarian for examination before replacement puppy is sent. Breeders veterinarian reserves the right to have consultation with Purchaser's veterinarian if deemed necessary. All registration papers must be signed and sent back to the Breeder before replacement puppy is sent. Replacement puppy will be of same value or higher value than original puppy. All sales are final.

No guarantees are made as to the size, color, conformation, temperament or breeding ability of the puppy. Puppies are sold with full AKC registration unless otherwise noted and discussed. Puppies are not guaranteed to win any titles whether they are show or pet quality.

Guarantee is null and void if puppy is bred before it's first birthday.

No puppies will be released until full payment has been cleared.

Puppies will be transported to Purchaser after they are 8 weeks of age. Transportation dates are dependent on temperatures and flight/routing schedules. Breeder will transport the puppy at the first available opportunity.

Puppies are immune compromised so please keep your puppy away from public places until you have received permission from your veterinarian that it is safe to do so. Breeder can not guarantee a healthy puppy if the puppy is exposed to outside disease that may be contracted from pet parks and retail stores.

Full payment of purchased puppy constitutes agreement to this contract/guarantee.

What about shipping? We have shipped many puppies by way of airplane and by ground transport. We reserve the right to transport the puppy by the method of our choosing, we make the final decision on how the puppy will travel. We make all the arrangements and let you know how and when the puppy will arrive. If we use ground transport you will get a call from the driver soon after departure, he/she will confirm a meeting time and place with you, the driver will give you his/her contact information. When using ground transportation it might be necessary for you to drive a short distance to meet the driver and it could be late at night.

We feed NutriSource Small/Medium Breed Puppy to all our puppies. NutriSource contains real chicken with no by-products, it is corn, wheat and soy free. It contains DHA and chelated minerals, quite frankly the puppies LOVE this food, it has a very tiny kibble, it smells and looks delicious, the puppies always gobble it down. We suggest that you start your new puppy out on at least 1 bag of this feed before making changes to their diet, this will help avoid stomach upset. Our puppies are raised in small groups so they have food available at all times, this may not work for your situation so we suggest that you feed your puppy 4 times a day to start, then as the puppy ages you can drop 1 feeding at a time until the puppy is 1 year of age, after the first year you can reduce the puppy's feeding to once a day.
